Building Permits
The process for obtaining an approved project permit is simple. You will need to submit an application package at the clubhouse for Architectural Committee review. This process is not meant to be restrictive, it is the POA's procedure to ensure construction is in accordance with the covenants approved by the entire homeowners association, and to help the homeowner avoid the legal pitfalls inherent in any construction project. After obtaining a permit from the Franklin County Water District, submit your construction permit application containing the following documents:
1. Copy of FCWD permit
2. Construction plans to include front elevation
(picture or drawing),
and specifications showing the nature, kind, shape,
height, materials, color and location
3. Completed permit application form. This can
be obtained at the managers office or you can
print one from here by clicking on the icon.

Fee Schedule For All Permits
Effective April 1, 2009
Before you begin major work of any kind, contact the KCPOA office in regard to the necessity of a permit and its fee, if any is required. Beginning construction prior to obtaining a KCPOA permit will be subject to a fine. Please, understand these fees are not intended to place a hardship upon anyone, but are assessed to repair road damage caused by heavy vehicles used in construction.
